Nottingham born, Andrew studied in Newcastle and started his career with Black and Decker on the European Procurement team, launching new products into manufacture in the Czech Republic. In 2007, he joined Bentley Motors in Cheshire holding various procurement roles in new production introduction on the second generation of Continental series where he also gained chartered membership of institute of Purchasing and Supply.

Andrew joined Thomas Bow in 2014 as Commercial Manager, with a background in procurement and project management where he has held roles in large multinational companies. Since joining, the business has grown from £9m turnover to nearly £30m. Andrew is now Commercial Director of Thomas Bow and Breedon Bow Highways Ltd, a joint venture with the Breedon Group which he founded in 2015, to seek pavement contracts with Highways England and introduce SME’s into the pavement category.

Andrew has played a pivotal role in the growth of Thomas Bow since 2014, expanding the operating area of the group, securing new contracts in Yorkshire and Leicestershire as well as renewing all previously held frameworks across the Midlands.

In his spare time, Andrew is a board member of Nottingham Rugby. Joining during the Covid-19 pandemic, he recognised the difficulties ahead for the club to become sustainable in an extremely challenging climate, offering commercial expertise and advice to help build the business to its full potential.
