Paving a significant presence in Nottingham since 1867, Thomas Bow City Asphalt are always looking for ways to contribute to the local community. As strong advocates of local sport across the Midlands, we actively sponsor a number of youth organisations and clubs across the region.

Our Managing Director Alistair Bow, is currently the Chairman of the Board for Nottingham Rugby. The Nottingham Rugby club was established circa 1877 by Alexander Birkin. The team currently play in the second tier of English Rugby in the Green King IPA Championship. We continue to support and sponsor the team and are extremely proud of their achievements.

We also sponsor Walesby Forest, an International Outdoor Educational Activity Centre with over 40 adventure activities, a range of accommodation for school and youth groups and 250 acres of natural forest. Over 50,000 young people visit Walesby Forest each year and we pride ourselves on supporting the site infrastructure to make these adventures possible.

Thomas Bow are keen supporters of football in the community , sponsoring various clubs across operational areas, including being long-standing partners of Burton Joyce and Matlock Town

Thomas Bow City Asphalt are regular supporters of the Grantham Swimming Club, with director John Allen taking an active role on the committee. He served as a president of the club and continues to provide weekly coaching sessions to youth groups within the community. The Grantham Swimming Club is based at Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham. Established in 1929, and with a long history in the community, the club is affiliated to the East Midlands region of the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA).
