Thomas Bow City Asphalt were delighted to continue their work with NHS trusts across the region in securing two contracts at the Kingsmill Hospital on the edge of Mansfield in Nottinghamshire.

The first of which involved the demolition of ‘Renal’ and ‘Blandy’ corridor blocks as well as a number of smaller outbuildings. The project, overseen by Major Projects and Compliance Director John Allen, involved the careful removal of asbestos before the demolition of the old buildings to make way for the 107 spaces as an extension to the current staff parking.

After a successful completion of these works the Dukeries car park construction began to provide a further 150 car parking spaces, including the construction of a storm drainage system and attenuation pond.
