Thomas Bow City Asphalt completed their works at Birmingham Airport in September 2013 working closely with Graham Goulden, Development Project Manager and James Gordon, Development and Infrastructure Engineer.

The project included works to Taxiway Kilo demolition to part of the existing taxiway, protection of the existing services and the construction of a new taxiway to the hangar and a link to Taxiway Lima.

John Allen, Major Projects and Compliance Director managed the project co-ordinating the teams to deliver the project scope for the New Monarch Airlines hangar, involving close liaison with Birmingham Airport, maintaining air side security and delivering the programme to a strict timescale.
