Thomas Bow City Asphalt completed their works at Birmingham International Airport on 6th May 2011 on time and within budget.

Working closely with Graham Goulden, Airport Infrastructure Manager, the construction management team carefully monitored the delivery of the works from concept to completion. The works involved the reconfiguration of BIA’s infrastructure in order to construct a new secure set down area adjacent to the main terminal building.

Working with BIA has further strengthens Bow’s Airport sector works, which includes existing clients The Manchester Airports Group (MAG), for whom we have been working in partnership with since 2004. Director of Construction, John Allen personally leads our Airport sector works, having gained significant experience over the last 24 years. John benefits from a comprehensive knowledge of the specialist nature of these types of schemes having worked with the Ministry of Defence and the American Airbases in the successful delivery of a wide range of Airport and Airfield related works.
