Thomas Bow City Asphalt were instructed by Nottingham City Council to construct a new 1500m closed road cycle circuit, SUDS wildlife pond and associated land drainage at the Harvey Hadden Sports Complex to transform the existing sports pitches.

The project, based just a short distance from the companies headquarters, formed part of the plans by Nottingham City Council to invest £13.5 million in the centre to develop it into Nottingham’s largest state-of-the- art leisure facility.

The project was overseen by John Allen, Major Projects and Compliance Director who commented ‘As a business we have a lot of experience on sports surfaces maintaining some of the most high profile motorsport surfaces in the UK. Its great to work on a project like this so close to our headquarters and provide a lasting legacy for the city.’
