Thomas Bow City Asphalt are the incumbent contractor for Derbyshire County Council on their surface work for Highways Framework Contract and have held this position since January 2008.

The Company implemented lean principles and methodology to enable it to offer the Client improved Value for Money, the outcomes of which show that valuable cost savings can be made.

The savings which were generated over a 21 month period, demonstrating Thomas Bow City Asphalt’s commitment to working with a client to maxim- ise the benefits on a framework contract.

The savings range from 0.60% to 23.59% or in monetary terms a nett total of £370,433.16 since their introduction.
