Grantham Swimming Club is based at the Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham. It has a long history in the community, being established since 1929. It is affiliated to the East Midlands region of the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and has 162 members (swimmers) aged 8 to 80.
There are a number of levels, or squads, provided for children and adults who want to compete at a local, county and national level, but also squads for those who don’t. These are split into various age categories. Children (mostly) train a various number of times per week as well as taking part in galas and competitions regularly both at the Meres and at other swimming clubs throughout the East Midlands.

- Promoting acceptable levels of behaviour in and out of the pool.
- Treating each member as an individual acknowledging their own personal needs
- Enabling each member to achieve their full potential through structured coaching, training and competition.
Thomas Bow City Asphalt are regular supporters of the club with Director John Allen taking an active role on the committee.
