Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council
On 27th July Thomas Bow City Asphalt won Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council’s ‘CW10 Footway Surfacing’ framework contract.
Karl Smith, Commercial Manager commented “this contract opportunity represented a natural progression for Thomas Bow City Asphalt, given the fact that we’ve been working for neighbouring Derbyshire County Council for the past three years. So when the ITT was released by Tameside MBC it seemed obvious that this should form part of our continued expansion plans across the region.”
The new contract is worth in the region of £1.5m and is set to commence on 1st August and run for three years, with the option to extend for a further year.
